Flanders Style Red Ale Aged in Oak Barrels with Dried Grapes

7.0% ABV

This blend of mixed culture fermentation ales was aged in red wine, brandy, and bourbon barrels, and pours a deep crimson with a nice effervescent head. A burst of funk on the nose gives way to a complex and refined sourness on the tongue, with notes of dried berries, cherry, caramel, and a hint of vanilla as well. A burst of dark cherry aroma evolves as the beer warms through, and the depth of barrel flavors reveal themselves.
